Describe the activity
Explain the products or services, intended customers and where work will be performed. Distinguish local sales, exports, group support and other proposed activities. The same business label can describe materially different arrangements.
Map ownership and funding
Prepare a simple group chart showing the proposed investors and their jurisdictions. Describe the intended funding route without assuming that every instrument or investor is eligible. Keep detailed identification records for a separately arranged secure channel.
Identify operating requirements
List expected office locations, headcount, banking needs, contracting arrangements and reporting requirements. Explain the commercial target date and which dependencies remain open.
Coordinate advisers
Identify who is advising the overseas parent and who will make decisions for the Indian project. An Indian engagement does not automatically cover foreign legal or tax obligations.
General preparation guidance only. The relevant facts and current requirements must be reviewed before taking action.
